Dave Aftandilian I wish more black metal projects would explore ocean abysses like this one does. I especially appreciate the industrial influences and mad visions of Lovecraftian terrors that lurk in the black depths. Cool audio diary style for the lyrics, too. Hoping for a longer voyage along these lines soon!

YomaBarr Lovely disharmonies! Offensive, abrasive, obsessive and addictive. More, please.
I wouldn't actually call this industrial, I'd call this "black metal af and highly deconstructive too".

stephen young With layer upon layer of warped and unnerving atmosphere, this ep pushes the boundaries of what black metal can achieve. Favorite track: Outpost 197 | recording_2152.

1.
I was never a competent navigator. Of longitude I knew nothing. The change happened whilst I slept. I began to despair in my solitude upon the heaving vastness of unbroken blue. Troubled and dream-infested was my slumber. Adrift, lost, in a heaving unbroken blue. It happened while I slept. I shall never know the details of it, for my slumber, though troubled and dream-infested, was continuous. For uncounted days I drifted aimlessly.
2.
I awoke to a hellish black mire, more horrified than astonished by the barren sinister immensity. How putrid it was with the carcasses of decaying fish. Oppressed I was with a nauseating fear. My dreams were so wild…The odour of fish was maddening! Unutterable is the hideousness that dwells in absolute silence. Nothing but a vast reach of black slime; monotonous undulations of rotting nasty mud. I know not why my dreams were so wild that night; but ere the waning and fantastically gibbous moon had risen far above the eastern plain, I was awake in a cold perspiration, determined to sleep no more.
3.
I felt as if on the edge of the world, peering into fathomless chaos, gazing into Stygian depths. Into eternal night where no light penetrated, an object gleamed-gigantic monolith of stone. Then suddenly I saw it - vast. Vast and loathsome. A monster came up from the depths. A nightmare. Monster. A storm! A storm! I heard a storm of thunder! It bowed its hideous head and gave vent to certain measured sounds. I think I went mad then. Of my frantic ascent of the slope and cliff, and of my delirious journey back to the stranded boat, I remember little. I believe I sang a great deal and laughed oddly when I was unable to sing. I have indistinct recollections of a great storm.
4.
I awoke hospitalised, delirious, my words given scant attention. At night I see the thing! I cannot think of the deep sea without shuddering in helpless fear of the nameless things. Of the dark ocean floor that shall ascend…I dream of reeking talons…A day when the land shall sink. I have become a slave to the transient surcease of morphine. The end is near by tonight I shall be no more. I cannot bear this torture anymore. I shall have forgetfulness or death. This is the end…
